Antimozdebeast "Prelude"
February 26th the solo artist AntiMozdeBeast released a surprise new song entitled "Prelude".
In anticipation of his upcoming release due out May 15th "The Vagrant Unkempt Grave". Prelude is a standalone single. AntiMozdebeast is a talented musician who writes, records and produces all of his own work.
A master at creating haunting nightmarish dissonant soundscapes. Industrial Metal/electronic somewhat Gothic inspired. Their is a discordant chaos that is organized and focused to create discomfort. While also to provoke thought and emotion.
Prelude is very much a chaotic whirlwind of pulsing synth and electronica. Surrounded by the harsh screams and chanted poetic vocals. There is an ominous feeling throughout.
Something that stands out to me often when I listen to AntiMozdeBeast is how intensely organized and well crafted the music is. While often coming across so dissonant and chaotic it feels improvisational. Which I think alot of great music should feel somewhat improvisational while also showing how much effort went into its creation.
